About me..
Hello...

My name is Adam (aka gulgi). I have spent the quite a few years behind a computerscreen, coding various game-related stuff.
This site is about the stuff I coded, and..hopefully will code.

Other hobbies include dancing Lindy Hop and Blues, tv-series (I see WAY to many) and learning new things.

I havn't finished any of my "own" games yet, but at my first job we made Headhunter: Redemption (for XBOX and PS2). Hereis a review of it. As of this writing It got 7.0 by the professional and 8.2 by the readers. Quite alright ;]. (much lower now, a few years later, ah well)

I then worked at Paradox Interactive.
We made Diplomacy (I was hired the last weeks, not my fault!! ;]) and Europa Universalis III, where I was Lead Programmer. I also worked as Lead programmer for one year on Europa Universalis: Rome before I left the company.

After that I started working at WindRiver. I was one of the people who coded the network stack for VxWorks and WRLinux. Different work. Alot of different platforms. Big company policies. Some good coders there.
A lot of fun with multi-core optimization on weird platforms.

Then I worked at Check Point. At their Full Disk Encryption for Mac OS X product. Very different from, well, most stuff before. Kernel extensions, OS X, dealing with Apple.. etc. ;)

And now: McAfee. On their folder and removable media-encryption.

I still have plans to someday return to the world of games. Lowlevel debugging/optimization on the PS2 is still the most fun/challenging work I have had.
