Well. This is now situated at http://sombermoon.com. This site has changed addresses alot. And still the content get's few updates.
I started this site in 2002. Very ugly little thing. I was gonna use it to put demos, screenshots etc on the net, and I didn't suceed until 2004 to actaully make something of it. And in late 2004 I changed.. alot. Mostly the design. No longer neon-green on black (am I the only one that likes those colors? ;]) but readable colors.
From the very beginning I have made this page with pico over a ssh terminal client. Not the best way to do a site but, it works. Kindof.
In the beginning I used.. crude html, now I use validated html + css.
It should work for everyone. ;] (who has a browser that supports frames that is)
I did update it some during 2004-2005. I should.. once more.
I now have some screenshots.. one runable little per-pixel-lighting
thing and that's it. (well.. I have this movie as well but.. ;]) Sometime quite soon my chess-program will be
finished, and hopefully it will be fun to play, even if it will lack a few things you expect from a chess-program.
The Tempest Engine will evolve.. maby even have a larger lavel than one room, and I should realy fix up my
quake3 and doom3 viewers so other ppl may play with them. I want to relase code for stuff, but my code is ugly.
Lots of stuff I have to prettify.. but if anyone wonder about a certain thing I am quite happy to help out and
share a piece. I would like to write articles as well... topics I have thought about include:
- Memory system (replace new, delete, malloc etc for your own, better in every way, yada yada)
- Shadows (I have done some research.. and lots of people seem to wonder how they work, especially shadow mapping and GLSL)
- Per-pixel-lighting with GLSL.. including tangent space weirdness...
Feel free to send me an email if you have questions etc....
